After much work, more than I anticipated, the Site Hyping report is finally up and available

I have been writing a lot lately about web traffic generation here and you might already be getting my free web traffic tips from YourTrafficTips.com, if you are not getting it you should signup. YourTrafficTips is all about easy to use ideas written down as a few steps, easy to follow. Like a smorgasbord of tactics to pick from.

Site Hyping on the other hand is a step by step system to bring more visitors to your site using social networking and web 2.0. Its much more comprehensive. You will learn from the very beginning how to get more visitors to your web site and exactly what you need to do. You can use the site hyping system as a base and then complement it with ideas from the free newsletter.

This is my first info product targeted at web masters. When I started to write on it I never really intended it to be released as a product, it was just meant for a few selected friends….

In a project that I do with a couple of friends we have a few people that are quite new to site promotion. They know how to create web sites, they are experts in their field and know how to write content, but what’s the point with no visitors.

Me being a bit lazy, I didn’t want to work on all web traffic generation myself. So I decided to write down what has been working for me so far, so that they could do all the work. The one page explanation quickly grew to a 20 page report. I gave the report to the people in my group and… got a lot of questions back… now it was no longer a simple report but rather a step by step system. There is a flow chart to follow on what to do each day and forms to follow and fill in as you do your work.

So I figured, now I have a system that anyone one can follow why not share it with the rest of the world and make some money…  Money is nice to have and I have always wanted to do an info product.

So, if you want more visitors to your site and can follow a step by step system, take my system for a test and let me know what you think.

Facebook just this week announced that they will integrate their service more closely with their partner sites. When you use Facebook you will be able to access your accounts on sites like Discovery Channel, Digg, Twitter, Evite, SocialThing, StumbleUpon, the San Francisco Chronicle, and Geni without an extra login.

Some of these sites are quite well known. I already use Digg, Twitter and StumbleUpon to help promote my software and web sites and you should to.

Geni is a really good service to build you family tree. I use it together with some of my relatives. It is good to get reminders on people’s birthdays and quite fun to see your family tree grow.

EVite is a nice free service to create and send out invitations of any kind. I have really not played around with this but I will take a closer look. If you have experience with the service please leave a comment below.

SocialThing is still in closed beta so you will require an invite to use it. The site allows you have a place for all you friends to see what you are doing on other sites.

Share your family tree and photos with the people you know and love. Geni is another large alternative doing the same thing.

MySpace
Myspace is the social site that started the craze. Create your own space on the internet, very focused on music.

Netlog
Netlog is another really large social site similar to facebook.

Platinum Lounge
A community site where you earn credits for everything you do on the site that you then exchange to real money.
ShareNow
Meet new friends who share your interests.

sMeet
Come and watch videos, test your knowledge in quiz and meet new friends on sMeet without having to download or install. Take part in “Meets & Greets” with celebs, talk on the telephone and listen to live radio shows!

Squidoo
Create your own web site about a given subject.

Twitter
Let everyone know what you are doing now.

Depending on your niche there might be specialized sites as well. You need to search out these as well, for you they might be where the real gold is. A quick way to submit your sites to a lot of these is to use the free social marker service. You simply fill in the information about your page and check the ones you want to use. The service then takes you through them one after another. It will save you time.
